Looking at and 08 vert with 78,000 miles. It's black with Z51 package and upgraded exhaust, plus has custom black wheels, very clean. Have owned several Vette's before including a C6Z. Had to get rid of last one because of leg and knee surgery. Legs coming back and I'm getting the itch again. Loved the Z but now really want a vert. Asking $29,000. What do you guys think of the mileage and the price?

Seems like a good price. Maybe offer 28K. As a reference, I am going to sell and list my Triple Black 2008 Vert, 3LT NPP Z51, with 31XXX in a couple of months for 34K. Only mods I have are cosmetic..... Good luck with it.
I think if you look around you'll find a low mileage vert. for a little bit more money. I would never own a vert. for several reasons. One is I like to use my car for shopping with the wife. The Vert. has a little trunk that is super small. Also, rag tops fade, are easy to break into, tend to let more noise in the car and can get ruined easily by birds. On a GS you can easily remove the top and it still has all the usable storage. To each his own.
I've looked on Auto Trader and the vert's with significantly lower mileage are priced $5 to 10,000 dollars more. Where do you guys look for pricing? Trader I've got a garage and if I'm gonna haul more stuff I've got a pickup, plus I thought it rode pretty quiet with the windows up and the radio off. Thanks for the input though.
That price isn't awful. It's prime buying season so you may struggle to find a Convertible for less dough until wintertime. Not sure where you live but Iif it gets cold and snowy during the winter months, you can probably get that same car 5 months from now for $25k or a lower mileage car for the same $30k.
