Purchased my GMPP from you just prior to the expiration of my factory warranty . . . You definitely had the best price, and even though as it turned out I never needed to use it, the peace of mind was worth every penny. You built up a lot of good will in the Corvette community, I hope that's worth something to the new owners. Wishing you every continued success, and hope to see you around these forums for years to come.
Rest assured that I am not going away! I will still be here as actively.
We will continue to offer parts, accessories and new Corvettes!!
Answers to your questions:
Warranty: We will be in the warranty business. I am not sure of the plan details, more to follow!
Ken's Newsletter: I will continue to post the latest in Corvette news.
Corvette sales: We will continue to offer new Corvettes at the best prices that we can. Once supply catches up with the demand we will honor the discount programs. At present we are honoring the discounts on non-Z51 Coupes and Convertibles.
Parts and accessories: Tom and Bob will be here to continue serving you!
Outstanding Corvette orders: All of the deals that we have made will be honored, including honoring price protection.
They are pretty much a mirror of each other except the new GM plan covers shocks so if you have MAG RIDE on your car you definitely want to go with the GM Plan. I just did quote on a 2013 427 Conv. that is 15 months old and the GM plan is an average of $350 less than GMPP. If you want details it is too hard to try and do VIA the forum so email me at dfichtner@fichtnerchevrolet.com and I will send them to you.
I say 62 years in business is quite a fabulous statement to their past, present and future (Rimrock) customers. Thank you Ken for selling me a great 2010 Z06, and Dennis for the extended warranty. I look forward to working with you again next year when the new Z06 comes out.
Good luck, and Thanks again!
Jim Durhan
The new owner is investing heavily in the growth of the dealership.
I am excited to be here as their General Manager.
We hope that we are able to get some additional allocations.
As stated, I will continue to be very active here in the forum and will continue to share my passion for Corvettes!! And yes, they will be a supporting dealer!
Remember, we were the first Supporting Dealer!!
Ken
Congratulations Ken - wishing you continued success!
Fichtner Chevrolet – NEW Breaking News – August 15!
A few days ago we announced to all of you the sale of our family owned dealership.
I want to clarify a couple of things and share an important announcement!
The dealership owners are Ken and Leonard Fichtner.
Ken is the dealer and Leonard is the president of the company.
Ken will continue as the General Manager.
The sales and parts professionals that you have contacted here will also continue!
BREAKING NEWS – IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
The new owner has agreed to allow us to continue to market and sell the GM Protection Plan and the Chevrolet Care Plan!
We will continue to serve the needs of our customers by offering competitive pricing and an increased allocation of Corvette Stingrays, discounted Corvette parts and accessories, and discounted protection plans!
After August 20, 2014:
Please contact Kathy Fichtner for your Stingray purchases, Ken Fichtner for GMPP and Chevrolet Care, and Bob Wendorff or Tom Dorsey for parts and accessories!
ADDITIONAL COMMENT:
Dennis Fichtner is no longer affiliated with Fichtner Chevrolet and has not been offered a position with Rimrock Chevrolet.
We have evidence that Dennis has removed customer names and files from the dealership and will attempt to use this information for his personal gain and that of another dealership.
Further we have evidence that Dennis has told customers who have called our dealership that he can be reached by email or phone and that his new employer will allow him to assist them.
This is in direct violation of a number of regulations and a signed agreement with our dealership.
I regret having to post this but hope that our customers will continue to do business with us!
