Default Important ANNOUNCEMENT!

FICHTNER CHEVROLET
202 SE 4TH STREET
LAUREL, MT 59044
(406) 628-4618

August 9, 2014

Dear Valued Customers and Friends!

Fichtner Chevrolet, Inc. has made the difficult decision to sell its assets to an entity owned and operated by Rimrock III, LLC.

Our dealership will be signed over and the new dealer will begin business on August 20, 2014.

The new dealership name will be Rimrock Chevrolet.

We would like to thank you for your support and patronage for the past 62 years and are confident that you will find the new owners great to do business with!

Rimrock Chevrolet is retaining me (Ken Fichtner) as their General Manager. I will continue to be an active participant in the Corvette Forum and will continue to offer Chevrolet Corvettes, Parts, and Accessories at special prices!

NOTE: Rimrock Chevrolet will not be offering General Motors Protection Plans (GMPP) and the new Chevrolet Care.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF THESE GREAT PLANS AT THE DEEPLY DISCOUNTED PRICES THAT WE OFFER YOU NEED TO MAKE A PURCHASE BY AUGUST 19!

FURTHER, IF YOU DESIRE TO EXTEND YOUR PRESENT POLICY WE NEED TO DO SO BY AUGUST 19!

Please email Dennis Fichtner at gmpp@fichtnerchevrolet.com for a plan purchase or extension. You may also reach him by telephone at 406-628-4618, ext 105.

Sincerely,

Ken Fichtner, Dealer
Fichtner Chevrolet

Really sorry to hear this as your deals on the GMPP have been the best anywhere.

Best of luck to you and Dennis.

Thanks for the years of great service.

This is an exciting time here at our dealership.

The new owner is investing heavily in the growth of the dealership.

I am excited to be here as their General Manager.

We hope that we are able to get some additional allocations.

As stated, I will continue to be very active here in the forum and will continue to share my passion for Corvettes!! And yes, they will be a supporting dealer!

Remember, we were the first Supporting Dealer!!

Ken

What is their reasoning for dropping the GMPP?

I bought my GMPP from you (Ken) for an outstanding price in 2008 and it paid off. I will contact you with any parts that I may need in the future. Good luck Ken.

Default Dealership Change

As Ken stated New Owners, No GMPP or GMEPP so everyone that wants one better hurry, I have been told as of 8-15-14 no more credit cards will be run so everything needs to be done by then. Great deals are ending so get me your VIN, exact miles and state of residence.
Remember you can get the GM Tire & Wheel Protection Package for another week only, I have sold about 200 of these on Stingrays, great deal for the coverage.

dfichtner@fichtnerchevrolet.com

This has been the greatest 11 years serving all of you on the Forum, I am not leaving the forum so keep an eye out, never know if I can sell them again.

Does this mean when my current GMPP gets close to expiration, I'll have to go elsewhere to renew?

I wish you all the best...sure you had reasons you sold. And I just hope things stay the same from you otherwise.

Sorry to read that, Ken and Dennis. One door opens, etc. I realize you'll still be around, but for all you've done for this Forum and Corvette owners, I think everyone is somewhat saddened. I hope it's all good for you and your people. Best of luck.
