It looks like I'm with the majority here. I also close the latch. I have a power top so I unlatch, push the top up slightly, and close the latch while the windows are rolling down. Once they are down I hit the power top button to drop the top.
I have a 2007 convertible and the top front latch snapped off in my hand does any one have
an idea of how to repair it. thanks for any info you may have.

Yea....I guess your right, but it could take me a while longer cause i'd have to keep wiping the sweat off every 2-3 seconds.....
