I use to work about 3 hours from home and would return home everyday - 5 days a week. Mileage paid by employer of course. I did that for just under two years. I also go to Florida about 5 times a year from Charlotte it's about 550 miles each way. Right now my drive to work is about 35 miles.

Have anyone cleaned theirs themselves. I've heard the car has to relearn the throttle position and some other crazy things happens. Going to do my silverado and vette this weekend.

ECM automatically learns you don't need to do any special relearn procedure. You can clean the throttle body but the sensor is a different can of worms. A lot of times throttle position sensor issues can be due to the wiring going to the sensor and not the sensor itself. P0121 is indicative of a potential air leak around the throttle body so removing and cleaning the throttle body could lead to the leak being fixed once the throttle body is reinstalled since anybody doing so probably would replace the gasket.
