Trying to figure out which pieces i want to use painted and which to do in stainless. Can't seem to make up my mind which to fo in each or whether to do everything painted or all stainless.
So help me out here all how about posting engine compartment pics. so i can get some real idea's on how i want to do it by looking. Not just guessing by doing a piece at a time and maybe screwing it all up.
Yeah i can that taking a long time to get done and a lot of cash.
Don't expect to do nearly that much to mine anytime soon. As i am just starting out with a new to me 07 z51 montery red coupe with 15000 miles on it. as u can see my engine is pure stock

I remember those days! I started with an '07 fully stock 10k miles. I would suggest an air intake is your first step under the hood for looks and a starting point for engine efficiency
I will give that some thought, but seeing as i did my racing long before u were probably ever born i doubt i add things to make more power. I remember when i came home from vietnam i bought a kinda rare car. It was a 66 chevy caprice with 4 speed stick posi and the old big block 427 425 HP. W#ish i still had it today LOL had it on a chasis dyno way back then and was pulling 550 HP at the rear wheels.
Be carefull with the method of attachment for the engine bling.
Any part that uses adhesive for the install will usually fail. Engine heat kills the adhesive within minutes. That usually means Velcro attachment too since the Velcro is held on one side by adhesive.
