I have a 2008 coupe and every time I start the car the HUD is set very low. I have saved positions 1 and 2 to my preferred level, but it always defaults to a lower position. I have to press the Driver 1 button every time to bring it where I want it. Is there a way to set this default position?
If you have the memory seats you can adjust everything where you want it and program the fob to automatically adjust everything when that fob is used to enter the car.

I do have the memory seats. How do you program the fob to revert the car to setting 1?
And this includes the preset radio stations also. You must be using a fob prgrammed as #1 or #2 to use the settings feature. #3 and #4 will only unlock and start the car...no settings can be memorized to them.
I bought the car used and it only came with one fob. I have set #1 and #2 driver settings the same but no luck. You think I have a replacement fob and that's the issue?

You need to see which number that fob is programmed as. If it is not 1 or 2, it will not do settings. When you first start the car, look at the DIC and see what it says. If it has not been personalized, then it will say DRIVER #1 or whatever number the fob actually is. It does not matter what number is printed on the fob...it matters how it was programmed. There is likely nothing wrong with your fob.
