I have a set of ZO6 mufflers with the mod done they have 6 inch 3" tubes on them. I installed these on my 2005 sound great it cost $300 to have installed they are cut and done inside need plates welded back on. will sell as is for $250.00 or $350 welded. As I said these are on my car could not be happier very little drone open quiet closed. The open sound is the best.

We have 2.5" exhaust how did you change to 3"? Do the tips still hit out right? And what needs to be welded I'm confused there?

What they did on my 2005 with 2.5" exhaust is cut the Zo6 mufflers about an 1.5" and they used a 2.5 to 3 adapter either clamp or weld to existing 2.5" pipes As I stated these sound great. You would need MTW in a box. exhaust will be open. You could do this later as the exhaust will stay open.
NPP in a box is the best around, IMHO. It doesn't work like the factory system where they open and close automatically with engine mode but no one has come up with an economical way to do that. This is next best. Some actually prefer manual operation. ~$200 + ~$1,500 for mufflers.
