I have to raise mine up slightly on one side in the front to make the car level. Measured it at different points (frame to ground) and right side is low. Will I need an allignment after I'm done ???
probably ~half inch to .75 inch in the front, and half inch in the rear or so.
there is a bushing on the bottom of the bolt that you can saw a rib or two off of for additional lowering.. I took two ribs off of each and mine is low.

The car is set from the factory for weight distribution, NOT for body panel height. If appearance is more important than having correct weight distribution then change the height.
Any change in the suspension calls for an alignment. Stock alignments are usually poor. Tires are expensive get a $125 alignment.

Thanks for the 411! Easy mod. I did my 99 FRC way back when and still have the original AS Pilot Sports w 40K. No alignment issues with half inch drop IMHO. Also I just do the rears to get the stance I like. Front seams low enough already.

I have had the car 2 years in Jan. and have 8500 on it and have does 2 alignments already. The factory set up had way to much camber in it, ok for tracking the car but not good for tire wear/highway driving. I did not know the car was set up for weight distribution. I will not change the height now, thanks.
For those who do want to change things, each turn of the bolts will raise/lower the fender lip about 1/8" after things settle out over the next few hundred miles. Initially, the change may seem much more than that but it changes with miles.
For aero reasons, it's important to keep the same "rake" from front to rear. GM finally published measurements using the fender well lips for 2010, the rear lips should be 1.3" higher in the back for narrow body cars, .9" higher for wide bodies.
