I have scoured the ads, got a few huckleberries. :-)
Lots of 05's

Guess I shoulda looked first...I only saw 2:
Portland BMW has a black '06 with only 6k miles and Good Chevrolet in Renton has a black '07 with 45k miles.
Looks like ya crack open a beer and dig deep!
I don't know how to cut n paste so I'll just leave my reply to all those who didn't like my reply to the OP. The DISLIKE of car salesmen baffles me. How did you buy your car in the first place??? Was is delivered by the Stork??? There are some Great Car Salesmen on this forum and they all do what's right by their customers.
Some of you would complain if General Motors GAVE you the car for FREE.....GEEESH
All due respect, but most people are at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to buying a car, new or otherwise.
Most buy a car only a relatively few times in their life, whereas the car salesman does this hundreds, if not thousands of times. Add to that: most car purchases are a very emotionally-driven thing, and it's easy for a salesman to take advantage.
Sure, there are plenty of salesmen out there who are honourable, but this, like most stereotypes exist because there is a (usually sizable) kernel of truth to them.
Mark, Welcome to the Forum. Please don't take all opinions posted here to heart. There are alot of members here that are loyal to other brands and the only reason they are here is to HATE...
Good luck with your quest, the Vette in color your looking for is VERY popular. It will take some time to locate. Be patient.
Most sales people can be annoying, may I suggest using the internet sales department that most dealerships have. They usually advertise at the lowest price possible (not to say they wont reduce further) but it seems to be easier. The good news is there are now a good number of C6"s being traded for C7"s. Thats how I found mine...with only 10K miles.
I sold Real Estate for 12 years...then switched to auto sales due to 911...long story.
If you have any questions I am here to help if I can

Bobby,
Thanks for the welcome. I've been a member of the Harley Davidson forum for years, the keyboard commandos don't bother me a whole lot. There are 4 black and a couple silver ones within an hours drive from me, just trying to determine if I'm getting the truth when they tell me they pay over trade book value for these cars, I've never had them pay me over book so I'm somewhat skeptical. They all seem to live and die by the "Book".
Nice car by the way!
I'll find one ;-)
Im on Harley Forum as well...same "nickname" ...Given to me by riding buddies, turn all my bikes into choppers as well as having built a couple.
Good to have you as friend.
Just let all that crap the dealers tell you go into one ear and out...
Stick to your guns as far as price you want to pay.
AND yes I paid a little more than Kelly Blue book for mine, BUT had looked for bout 3 months and when I found it I knew it was the one. Found it on Cars.com most dealers use this site.
I was picky, wanted under 20K miles Black on Black Automatic. Look at my garage...I've had a silver one (2008 Z51) just wasn't happy with the color although I must say much easier to care for....

I would assume he's just talking about the sleazy tactics many of them use. Not all of them use, Out of the cars I have bought 1/3 was bad(dirt bag, lines he used) 1/3 was alright(tried to hide stuff) and 1/3 was great (she wasn't pushy one bit, easy transaction). When people are trying to get money unfortunately most will stop at nothing to get it. I bought my C6at a large dealership from the salesgirl because she was straight up, easy going and didn't try to "sell" the car. The car spoke/sold for itself. It's a shame that they all get labeled, but it is what it is. I go in with no chips on my shoulder.
Western Oregon here. Have started my search for a C-6 convertible. Preferably black black black.. Used car salesmen are a pain, I hope I can tolerate them until it is found.
Thanks for the open door!

I avoided car dealers by buying from a private party, and if they are the original owner it makes it that much better. Just take your time, you will find a good one.
