That's a lot of miles for a car that probably costs in the mid 20's. Go with the orange one, plus that is a unique color. 23K sounds like a nice price, 08's and up are the only vettes that go up according to their owners. Sounds like it's priced to sell. It is going on 7 years old.

I'd pick door #2.

Half the fun of owning a vette is doing and/or selecting the mods yourself.

as with the others, go for the Atomic Orange if the car is clean. Seems way to cheap to me but never know. I personally would buy it if it was clean in and out for 23K

Money pit, since the car was run with a blower for a while, and even in stock form, don't have a clue when the valve springs where last changed (should be around every 35K, depending on the cam), and my be due for them to be replaced.

Bluntly, when buying a Vet, the more you know that it was stock all it's life, the better off you are. This is why a fully oem stock car will always demand a higher price, and why most people that mod, will try to get the car back to stock before they sell it (remove any traces that the car was hopped up and abused).

I would go for the stock 08 unless you have about about $10,000.00 in a car emergency fund because you might need it with the modded car. The stock one should go 300,000 or more with minimal repairs and good driving habits. The stock one will resell better too and should only need minimal repairs and maintenance such as brakes, tires, wipers and oil changes etc.

IMO...listen to the reply's above. These are experienced Vette people, not someone with an angle

The cost for repairs on a abused car will go far above the mods you might want to do. Not to mention the frustration of your "baby" breaking down.

I just bought mine a couple of months ago and I have been all over the spectrum on what to do to it. From Cam and heads to Supercharging. After getting the emotions out of the way (well...mostly out the way) I have decided to do exhaust and tune and let her be. That will put me in the 400 to 415 RWHP range. My friend...that still makes a very quick car

BTW...my opinion and $5 will get you some coffee at starbucks

Thanks for the input guys. I left a message for the owner of the Atomic Orange to contact me. It's supposed to be two counties over so hopefully he gets back with me soon and I can check it out.
