First timer (be gentle)
To the OP: WELCOME!! This forum is just loaded with tons of terrific information and great people. Love the Arctic White color; that's the most brilliant white I've ever seen on a car. Enjoy and congrats
Mike
I'd rather drive this car now worth about 25 grand if I'm lucky...as that's just depreciation over time...every year for the past 7 years I just orbital polish it twice...it's black and it still looks brand new when I wash it every week...
I'm not just saying this....it really shows very well...runs great too..
I suggest it's important to enjoy the journey and experiences in life and not let the things we own ....own us..
Just a perspective I live by not suggesting it's the only one to have..
Enjoy your baby anyway it serves you...welcome to the forum posting...spring is just around the corner...
Corvettes love cold air!
1 more thing that you will glad you bought... $50 -$70 dollars for a Battery Tender Plus. If you don't rive your Vette within a 2 week period during the cold (and warm) it will not start... It will extend your battery life to the max!!
Have fun!

Also, just starting the car up and letting it idle, or short drives will not charge the battery back up, and in fact, can drain the battery even more. To get the battery fully charges, think in the 15 min range of constant speed driving (highway).
B, Being that is a 2005 m6, get a steering column lock eliminator installed on the car ASAP. with the OEM steering column lock in play, its only a mater of time before the lock has problems, and strands you somewhere, since the car will not start if the lock starts acting up.
Here is where to buy it,

Here is how to install it,
Note, put a towel on top of the steering column cover so you don't scratch the column cover with the gauges when you pull it out.
