No, bluetooth is only for phone calls (if your is stock). you would need the 3.5mm headphone cord to connect it to the jack in the glove box.

You might be able to use the USB port - I plug a thumb drive there, but an iPod or any other source should work too.

I was able to play Pandora in my 2012 by using a jack wire from my Samsung GS5 to the jack connection in the console. The sound quality was not very good unfortunately. I also connected the phone to the USB port in the console to charge the phone. I hoped the USB connection alone would enable Pandora to play, but no dice. The Vette requires the jack connection to work and even then not so well. I sure wish the vette's Bluetooth worked for Pandora like it does for the phone.

I brought it up via my Bluetooth mode in my ford. Just wondering if I could do the same in my vette, no wires just pandora on my phone and it connected right to Bluetooth. Sounded good coming thru on the sony speakers.

The radio system in your 2lt,and i have the same car, is antiquated junk. No streaming,no pandora, no nothing unless you hook up your phone via usb and play it thru the system that way.

Okay, I have a 4LT '13 GS. I use my Iphone 5s hooked up to the USB port in the console to run Pandora. It works great.

I believe they're all junk, 2lt to the 4lt. The 014 got the pandora option. But thanks for your input on the USB.

Yes, I have the OEM stereo unit.
After you plug in you phone to the USB port go to the page on the OEM head unit screen that says CD. After I plug in my phone the Ipod is recognized and its icon comes up on the screen. I then press the Ipod icon and that's about it. At least that's how it works for me.
Good luck.

I have Alpine GPS navigation radio and it's UNREAL!!! They're a little pricey, but I can run Pandora through my phone and links to it cordlessly. Phone Calls go right to the radio, crystal clear sound. CD, With movie DVD player and much, much more!!!! Check them out!!! Most of all the sound and volume is such a HUGE improvement. Not just loud, but better all around sound LOVE it!!!! It can do almost everything??

This bluetooth adapter can be used to play pandora from your phone through the stereo for $17. I have one, and it works great.

if you have a PAL I have a Bluetooth dongle going into it. Seemlessly streams bluetooth audio through the stock head unit. It plays nicely with the stock bluetooth for phone calls
