I do a 1700+ trip every few months except in the winter and get 28-30 mpg at 80 mph depending on wind/rain/temp. The secret that many people seem unaware of is cruise control. Around town my mileage is very unpredictable but is typically 15-25 mpg.

My 99 C5 got 33.6 @ 65 when stock, and then 37+ @65 after some mods, so I figured the LS2 6-speed combo would be in the same range - thanks for verifying! I drive a lot for work, so mileage is important, but having the Corvette also makes a statement about a certain level of success so that is important too.
I run two different sets of rims and tires. The original Goodyear run flats improve mileage over the non RF toyo proxes. I chalk it up to the more aggressive tread design on the Toyos.
