you need to consult your owner's manual. Capacity depends on your corvette model which you do not indicate, base? Grand sport? Automatic, manual, what?

BTW ... Some owner's manuals for the C6 Corvette may say to use 6 Qt of oil ... That will overfill it.
Use 5 1/2 Qt with an oil and filter change.

BTW ... Your not stuck by using only Mobil 1 oil ... Any good 5W-30 that's 100% synthetic would be fine, but the 2012 did come from the factory filled with Mobil 1
Up to you ... look for the approved 'dexos 2' logo on the bottle (if your concerned with that)

OP, you have your answers, however, I would also suggest that you spend some time with the owner's manual.This time you got answers from folks who know what they're talking about.
Next time, you may not be so lucky. The owner's manual is always accurate!
