Ordered the current Gm Navigation DVD #22944166 from the above company on 4-3-15 for $89.00. Rep Stated it is going to be sent via airmail and it would take 7-14 days. After I ordered it & paid for it receipt showed it was coming from Bosnia/Sarajevo !!!
Sent them an email on 4-13-15 to let them know I have not received it and the number they supplied does not show up on the USPS Tracking site.
They answered in brief: Hi, nothing to worry there, it only shows that USPS is notified about package and it is waiting for it in USA. POST is to blame for delays.
Sent email 4-20-15 to let them know it has been eighteen days and I still do not have my disc & I am requesting a full refund. As of today No response !!! contacted my credit card company to file a non- delivery claim. My opinion do not waste your time with this company.
After reading this thread, I decided to just pony up and pay for the GM OEM version. I got the newest disc for $179 (plus tax and shipping), after their so called $20 discount. It came in the mail about 4 days later and it works fine. Do I still feel a little ripped off based on the absurd price? Yes, but it works and no hassles.

I have done the same thing and bought the map upgrade disc 3 times when they were on sale at the legitimate upgrade site and each time I sold the prior years update disc on eBay. After selling the prior year discs the cost to upgrade averaged only $25 each.
The nice thing is that the discs are not tied to any particular vehicle or navigation head unit and work in multiple years and vehicles so they sell very fast

Do you think there is a lot of changes from version 8 to 9? I am thinking in the Dallas area there probably is due to the amount of construction going on around here.

I found that here in the Tucson area that there were roads added in the version 9 that were not on version 8.
The big thing for me living in the Dove Mountain area in far NW Tucson was the newest and by far the best way to access many areas including I10 freeway was via Twin Peaks Road but that was not on the version 8 maps. Without that road update the nav was not of much use coming or going from where I lived because with version 8 it calculated much longer out of the way routes every time.

I am not sure that anyone can say with certainty. But my daughter's new home in VA, that did not register on vers. 8, did on vers. 9. That was my first use of the new disc and was a pleasant surprise.

Maybe I'm not doing it correctly, but when I click on your link there an option on the homepage to search for maps. I clicked on that and it sent me to gmnavdisc.com, and of course the price is $179 plus shipping. How did you get $50.00 off? Or what am I doing wrong?

It was may of last year when I bought it.
I had done a Google search for the map number 22944166 and one of the links that popped up was a link to the HERE site with the map on sale for $50 off and it worked and the map disc was shipped directly from HERE.

Has anyone had good luck with after market NAV systems for C6's?
I have a MP3 audio system in my 2008 Vette and want to replace it with a NAV system. The C6 NAV systems were a piece of %$#@, I prefer to have an after market unit with backup camera. Anyone have any suggestions?

Actually this thread was intended for those of us who still have the "piece of %$#@" C6 navigation units in our cars. Therefore I suggest you start your own thread in the C6 General Discussion Forum, or better yet post in the audio forum.
Did you ever get a response as to the possibility of any further updates becoming available for our C6 nav units?
Here's the answer I got from the GM Navigation Center: Thank you for contacting General Motors Navigation Center. At this time the release date of the next update for your 2008 Chevrolet Corvette has not been officially announced. Generally updates are released every 12-18 months.

This was on 4/8/15.
Thanks for passing on their answer.
According to their schedule they are somewhere between 1 and 1 1/2 years late because the last update for the C6's came out 2 1/2 years ago.

My friend bought a 2013 C6 late last year and the NAV disk were missing, the dealer order new disk and they were for 2013 C6 Version 9, probably the last version that I am aware of.
