Okay guys, muffler has a nice rattle inside of it so I guess it's time to move on. I'm thinking the fireballs I shot through that thing screwed them up good.
I need some suggestions.
I could repurchase my current setup (NPP muffler). If I opted for that, who's best to purchase it from price-wise?
I'm forced induction so I need something that can freely flow so I was open to looking at other mufflers since I need to get rid of the current setup.
What I'm NOT looking for: Is a crackling sound (I listened to some Borla Stingers on youtube wasn't a fan). Demo clips appreciated. Most things I tried googling seem to be a full exhaust system (catback or long tube setup). I'm just looking for an over-the-axle bolt on to the PFADT system.
This is how I sound now and want a sound similar to this if it's around.
I just like the nasty snarl (on the rev down) of the current setup and how it just screams (hear video).
I miss Tampa and the Fun Howard Franklin Bridge, I earned a ticket on the East Bound Side on New Years several years back. Was any of that on Dale Mabry? What part of Tampa do you live, I lived in the Carrollwood area some 10 or more years ago and worked at Rocky Pointe on the Causeway. I have not been back since I moved but have considered taking the trip.
What gets me is why cant we just buy replacement mufflers, not mid-pipes or axle-backs, just the mufflers and have the tips and existing tubes welded or clamped on the new mufflers? Simply cut the old ones off and clamp or weld the new ones on? It would have to be less expensive.

Yes that was the Gandy. That was not Dale Mabry. I won't say exactly where I'm at on a public forum. PM me if you wanna chat more about Tampa.
okay I opted for the B&B Fusion setup. Louder and nastier than the stock NPP but still get dual valved. Ridiculously overpriced (as it seems all axle back systems are) but it is what it is. System comes in a little under 2 weeks.
Worth selling my internally rattled NPP? Fixable to someone else if I offer it cheap or just throw it out?
