Here's the thing, they look okay from 20 feet away. Then you walk up to the car and see those cheesy, fake screws or nuts or whatever they're pretending to be printed on the fake caliper and you think to yourself, "this guy can afford an American icon sports car but can't paint a caliper?". Just my opinion, but I wouldn't put those on my scion xa daily driver.
and here's my poser brakes just installed an hour ago on my poor base model...
To get the topic back on topic, this will give the OP an idea of how it looks compared to caliper covers...oh and car is filthy about to rain and drove it 60 miles.
Motul Fluid
Stoptech Rotors/Pads
Stock calipers taken from a Z51
I bought them used so the previous owner made them red so I'm not sure if it's painted or powder coated. Either way, in my opinion, it looks more classy/professional than caliper covers. Covers in person look tacky.
It would have cost me $350+$40 shipping to have them powder coated. I paid $150 for the Z51 calipers seen here already red (I know they're just about the same caliper). It was a win/win. I have a new exhaust system going on next week (B&B Fusion) and when I do I'll put up a whole new photo shoot and whatnot of the car.

That's a good deal on the calipers! Nice upgrade and car.
Sorry things got a bit childish between us, but as I said, I quit smoking recently and darn if I'm not irritable...sigh. But I should know better than to take things personal on here.
