sent the artwork with the yellow C7 in the foreground to get printed for advertisements and registration forms...………… also having a few t-shirts with it on that will be sold to raise additional monies for the Leader Dogs...…………….
sorry to report to the GS'ers that even XXL shirts may not be wide enough for you...…………
and a special "thank you" to Hoxxy, for his great and factual photo...……
seeing how I had mandatory "Sensitivity and Diversity Training" upon my return to the Motor City and work,
and the lessons learned prohibited me from speaking my true feelings to the GS'ers as they may find them offensive...………………
what the hell happened to freedom of speech...…………………..
thought this was America...……..

Hey hey hey......its National Celebrate Nebraska Day....grab a Runza and a Kool Aid or even a Ruben Sandwich and a Busch Lite all from Nebraska except the Busch Lite but it uses Corn from Nebraska to make it..... ...... and get to partying..... jump into your extra large $80K pickup and head on over. Corn on the cob will be served with corn holders that look like tiny corn ears..... we will have chili and cinnamon rolls a Husker favorite.... try it you will like it...... we will be chatting it up about the new Husker BB coach and of course Husker Football....... what a great day...... and we will be bitching about the late spring and the lack of farm work going on....... we want you to know about or unique and vibrant way of life here in the Good Life State....... just thought you should know.....
meanwhile I gotta go work....... keep the shiny side up Hammers...... bears are handing out green stamps at the 374...... and the east side coops are open and they are checking comic books.....

cold and rainy here this morning, but supposedly the best weekend weather day we have seen in 6 months is forecast for tomorrow..........
but then again, we all know that tomorrow never comes........
projected to be SUNNY and low 60's here tomorrow, so it may be the day to take mine out of hibernation.........
crap on the roads should be washed off in my area, so hoping the forecast is right
for those who have interests in "Boogity, boogity, boogity" best to make plans to watch it while the opportunity still exists...............
more information in the link below............

Low 80s here but 80% chance of am showers sat and 40% on Sun. Staying in mid 70s to mid 80s for the next 10 days.
Doesn't look like I will get the roof done on the shed this weekend. Probably will be sometime in July before we have a dry weekend.
Insulation is all in and added another 2 bulb 8ft fixture. Now have 4 8ft LED bulbs in the shed. Can see everything now, whether I want to or not.

seeing that H1 posted the photo of the Huskers folks celebrating out in the heartland...………… that my have been his "Friday Funnies" topic...…….
seeing how it is now Saturday, it must be time for something humorous to keep the "Saturday Cartoon" theme going...………………
thinking that the GS'ers are always talking about how much better the GS'er lifestyle is compared to the rest of the world...…….
until I actually found some pictures of the GS'ers and the so called upgrades in their lifestyle...………………
wonder which GS'er is actually on the mechanical bull just outside the GS'er lounge...……………
really NOT impressed with the GS'ers idea of remodeling their restroom...……… although it is spacious enough for the wide bodies, seems to be lacking privacy...……..

A rookie police officer was out for his first ride in a cruiser with an experienced partner. A call came in telling them to disperse some people who were loitering.
The officers drove to the street and observed a small crowd standing on a corner. The rookie rolled down his window and said, “Let’s get off the corner people.”
A few glances, but no one moved, so he barked again, “Let’s get off that corner… NOW!” Intimidated, the group of people began to leave, casting puzzled stares in his direction.
Proud of his first official act, the young policeman turned to his partner and asked, “Well, how did I do?”
Pretty good,” chuckled the vet, “especially since this is a bus stop.”

Heard in the GSer Lounge recently....
What do women and police cars have in common? They both make a lot of noise to let you know they are coming.
I work to buy a car to go to work
Cop: "Have you been out drinking?" Me: "Uh yeah, I'm 78, I've been out drinking literally hundreds of times."
My girlfriend tried to make me have sex on the hood of her Honda Civic. I refused. If I'm going to have sex, it's going to be on my own Accord
GSer wife...I always adjust the seat and mirrors when I drive my husband's car so he doesn't forget he's married.
And the best of all.....
I didn't realize how bad of a driver I was until my sat nav said, "In 400 feet, do a slight right, stop, and let me out."

OMG...... I had to drive baby in the rain today...... I acted like I didn't care ....... but inside I was yelling ... NOOOOOOOOOO........NOT RAIN......... Hit some hard rain in Kansass....and then ran out of it and then it started in when I hit the Nebraska line and all the way home..... that's the good thing about highly polished BS.....nothing sticks to it.......
Well the old folks are in a toot..... they are having to live apart in the same building now that Gramps is requiring full time care and Mom is still in assisted living..... Looks like 13K a month if we keep them there but they are not happy..... I don't know what to do....... Gramps wants to go to the VA home in Montana and Ma says she wants to go with him...... I'm like.....really? Ok I guess..... now have to see if that is even possible..... I'm not bitchen..... just going to have to make some hard decisions soonest....... right now I'm thinking........ a Scotch on the rocks......then maybe it will all be clear to me......
The BSGS was smooth as glass today.......but I am going to have to do something about them pipes...... love em but after 350 miles today I'm getting a bit tired of them........ one of the major indications that I'm getting older....... and older......
enjoy your evening.....

best of luck in making those hard decisions H1...………….. been through that a long time ago with ex father-in-law...……. will provide those details next time we talk...…….
all I can advise is that those involved in a possible move should have some input too, as long as they know all the details and ramifications' of such a task...………
planned to get the red rocket out today...…………….. as it was somewhat sunny for a while and about 60 degrees...…………… seemed to have gotten a little wrapped up with some issues though
didn't start mine since late August 2018, but it was on trickle charger except for the week I went to AZ...…………… plugged the trickle charger back in Friday morning before work, so I thought it would be ready to roll this morning...……….
had green light on charger, but no power in the car...……….
checked battery voltage with voltmeter, and showed 6.3 volts...…………….
removed old battery, and for those who don't have a dry sump and battery in trunk, not an easy task,
as the cubby is almost the same size as the battery, and then add in cables and battery vent to the equation...……………….
went and purchased a replacement from Advanced Auto, only name brand auto parts store who had one that fit in stock...…….. installed and took Ms. 427 for a ride to Costco for me to get gas, and her to shop...…….
got a lot of looks and compliments while topping it off at the pump, and then waiting right outside the store for her to return...……
so that was a nice thing, even if I only got to drive it about 30 miles total
also found a motel for the upcoming trip in July to Bowling Green...……………. picture below...……….
just wonderin' if it may be too upscale for the GS'ers planning to attend...…………..
