Hammy's Grand Sport Bar & Grill
Burning Brakes
Here's hoping all our members out in Huskerland avoided the really violent weather Friday into Saturday. Up here in Deetroit all the news has been on the NFL Draft and almost nothing on anything else but I did see one quick local coverage break on You Tube and it looked pretty bad. Fingers crossed everyone escaped damage or injury.

Weather was wild in Nebraska and Iowa, then yesterday in Oklahoma.
Storms supposed to get to Kansas and Missouri as the days move forward.
Hope all in these areas stay safe and out of harms way.
I do know a person who lives in Elkhorn, NE and it missed their house, but many of their children's schoolmates were not as fortunate.
It has been off and on rain, but warm here the last couple days, and yesterday we participated in a group outing with some Jaguar and MG club people to visit some museums in the Port Huron area.
Fort Gratiot Lighthouse and Museum, and a few smaller museums, along with the Thomas Edison Depot Station Museum.
He lived there early on in his life and rode the train from there to Detroit.
Will send a link to the usual suspects, and I think Ruxxy may like some of the Huron Light ship and other historical items?
No longer in service, but a National Historic place, not stored onshore.
Disclaimer: One of the museums had a "Barbie" section, and seeing that I took the pictures for the group, many wanted them for the females in their lives.

...bad weather east of us and west of us but we managed to miss all but the rain..... we had about 2 1/2" which we really needed. Other places had more... Tornadoes did damage around Omaha area.... Doc took the new baby to the basement over in the Star City as they waited out those storms...... Waverly, Elkhorn and Bennington suffered the worst damages... entire neighborhoods flattened.... what takes a lifetime to build can be gone in 30 seconds..... its a bad deal......
but while this is going on over 60,000 Husker fans attended the spring game to get a look at the new QB's and other players I guess we have our priorities straight here...... F the tornados how does Dylan Raiola look as our new hope....... actually the game happened before the weather events I'm thinking.......

Well we blew through 3 million views when we weren't looking..... that's a lot of customers been through the doors since Hammy's hung out the shingle..... as you know the content here at the B & G is of top quality and since we have cut the amount of water down in the bar whiskey it even tastes better...... Corn Trooper is the new bar whiskey and as usual the GS'ers get the Pappy's and so do the basers because they steal it from us......
so keep supporting your local virtual bar where anything can happen.... and usually does.... Sunny and blue skies here today..... I am going to have to mow today as soon as the grass dries out some..... the rain has been welcome though.
Going to get some turf tires for the JD..... I know what I want but when did rubber prices start to match Gold...? Should we invest in tires? I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired..... I'm tired of saying..... how can that be? I priced a 15 ton load of white rock to make a nice pad for the trailers........ $979 bucks for white rock...... almost a thousand bucks for one dump truck load..... so we better start saving.......
..and on the national scene.... F Hamas...... terrorist bastards..... they are actually the ruling political party in Gaza... that whole this is a mess of epic biblical proportions.....

H1, you knew the answer to your question about prices before you asked it. Thanks, Bidung! Or is that Brandon? Or just FJB!

It looks like I need to work on my calling. Only the wrong one has responded.
On a good note, my 1.5 acre wheat/cereal rye plot looks pretty good. The rye is already starting to set seed.

I had a person try to explain to me that since they have already paid off more in student loan than they borrowed (due to interest) the rest should be forgiven because the loan institute got their money back...and he has a degree...in stupidity.

I see that he has since deleted his post?????????????????
Maybe it was because the mean, old GS'er hurt his one feeling.....................
In other news, today was my last full day at work, they scheduled an "Exit Interview" for 13:00 EST, so I should be gone by 14:00 at the latest.
They had a luncheon today for me, and it was really unexpected on my part, and had many in attendance.
Will post a few pictures later, once I get them off my phone and take a couple of some wall hangings or artwork some sent my way.
I had to speak, so I thanked them all for the support and knowledge they passed on to me, and any assistance they provided whenever I needed it. Told them it is a people business, and as long as we all helped one another when asked, the job was pretty easy.
Felt blessed to have had the numerous opportunities they provided the city boy from Detroit to see and do during my time there, that in my wildest dreams ever, I could never have imagined the places I have been, the people I have met and worked with, and all the fun or enjoyment working there provided me.
Kind of look at it that they actually paid me to play, as I had no issue doing what needed to be done, even if it meant getting my hands dirty.
Ms. 427 came and she was blown away by the people who acknowledged me for the support and dedication during my career.
There were people from all aspects of the job, prototype builders, engineers, corporate directors and Executive VP's.
