ignition switch replacement
Hello, Has anyone know how to replace the ignition in the 05. The one in the dash had all the decal or whatever they used come off. Does
someone sell an overlay to repair without removing the dash. Also the door exit buttons fell to the same problem. I guess this was one of the
many problems with the 05 year Vette. Thank you

The finish is worn from use--I'm sure it isn't unique to only 2005 C6's.
Check out this thread. I just replaced mine. Removing the dash not necessary. just release bottom bezel clips then bezel can be pulled out enough to R&R the switch. Was very easy. The aluminum bezel that holds the door release button pulls out so the release button can be changed out too. I was able to pull it out using my finger nails. The part number for the door release button is; 10362041.

Got it done this morning

must be researched. Plastic tabs like to break off to ruin your day.
