I'm sure this subject has been covered, but I can't seem to find it. Can I remove single wheels (one at a time) for detailing/cleaning by using a floor jack, under pucks at the sides of the car?
Yes, although I normally remove all four and I do it my raising the front first and then the back Jack the front at the front cross member and do the same at the rear. I place the jack stands under the pucks.
You have your puck in place. Jack up car, remove wheel, jack it up a little more, slide in jack stand (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...h-4-jacks.html) and clean wheel well and wheel and then work your way around...I do this twice a year.

That is what I do. I leave the jack in place rather than use a jack stand, but I do chock the wheels
I don't know if I am like most here but when I bought my floor jack, it came with 2 jackstands, now with that said, can I jack up one side at a time and place 2 jackstands under one side of the car and remove to detail two wheels at one time? safely? and without damaging the car?
I don't even know if I can get the flor jack under the side of the car to get to the lifting pucks, right now I usually have to drive the vette up on ramps to be able to get the floorjack under the front of the car to the crossmember.
I guess I could try the ramps on the front wheel and back wheel on one side at a time.

You really need a jack stand under the car as well as the jack. Use the Jack as a back up, never the only support. Don't put your life in the hands of an O ring the size of a pencil lead. Hydraulic jacks can easily fail.

Most jack stand manufacturer's warn against using two jack stands on one side of a car. Anything other than two stands at either end is usually not considered a best practice. Having said that, if the stands are set to their lowest setting, you will probably be okay.

If all you're going to do is remove, clean, and replace wheels, then jack up one side at the rear tie down (under the door) location and you can do both wheels at the same time or one at a time. No need to go so high to use a jackstand, since you won't be under the car to R&R wheels.
