Default chip guard question

after my accident in my black c6 im in the market for another. iv had my eyes on an 07 atomic orange with 45k on it, it does have a full exhaust(brands unknown still) but the only thing on the car bothering me is the clear bra or chip guard. Has anyone ever removed on and how big of a hastle is it? I imagine a lot of glue left behind. Anything helps im hoping to pull the trigger on the car this week!

That shouldn't bother you at all, especially when it's removed and there are no chips or damage! Do you know what brand it is? A local detail shop (do research for a good one of course) will get you going. I highly suggest getting it reapplied though, no better feeling than going through bugs with hard shells and other debris knowing there will be no imperfections when you get home.

Yes that is a nice thing about them but I just don't like seeing that crease where it ends, maybe something to just get used to! do you know how easy that bra is to clean of the bugs and other gunk?

They clean off easier than the paint. You can also use a good carnauba wax on it.

You won't be able to see if from 5 feet and 98% of people won't notice its there until you tell them. (I've shown at least 10 people now who didn't notice until I showed them, and then they say, I don't think I like that ) The new stuff as above stated can be waxed and takes on the same reflection as paint, not sure how.

Can you tell me where the XPEL is?
