Default Prayers Requested - Final Note

My wife and I traveled to Richmond to Johnston Willis Hospital, one of the finest neurological centers in the country, to see Brody and make our good-byes. With all the family present, we decided that Brody would be an Organ donor. Brody was type B Neg - only 2% of the population - and the doctors were ecstatic that that decision was made. As of this writing, Brody's death has meant life for four people and there may be more. Brody lives on by his gift of life.

Peace

It is with a heavy heart that I write this final post.

Brody has not made the comeback for which we all have been praying for. He was declared brain dead at noon today and will be taken off of life support this afternoon. Final plans are being made.

Brody loved life and he wanted to own a Corvette. Sometimes things don't work out.

I thank you all for your kind words and support and prayers.

God Bless you all and RIP Brody

For those who believe in the power of prayer, I request your prayers.
For those who do not, I request your kind thoughts.

I have an 18 year old grandson who, several days ago, was diagnosed with a Deep Vein Thrombosis. He was being treated with a clot buster.
This morning he was sent to the Emergency Room and was diagnosed with brain bleed. He is undergoing emergency brain surgery and the prognosis at the moment is not good.

He needs all the positive energy he can get..

Prayers Work!

While Brody's condition remains grave, he is not now in immediate danger of dying from his condition.

Brody has, at 18, suffered the equivalent of a stroke. He has suffered serious brain injury. His condition will be reevaluated in 24 hours and we will know better the prognosis then.

The tremendous outpouring of love and prayer shown here and on Facebook have raised my spirits and I have no doubt played a part in his passing this hurdle.

I thank you all for your support and your love, I thank you from me and I thank you from Brody. Some day I hope he will be able to come on the forum and thank you himself.
