I have 05, with 50,000 plus, and love it, and certainly dependable.

I think the point is that there is nothing inherently wrong with an '05 (that wouldn't already have been taken care of by now), but the best advice is still to buy the newest, lowest milage, best kept, and in the best condition car you can afford.

I mostly agree, but often those criteria are conflicting. My 2005 has extremely low miles, so I would (and did) prefer it to a newer model year that has higher mileage but sells for the same price. A lot depends on personal preference.

The best thing to do is decide what you are willing to pay, then search the Internet for cars selling at around that price, and see what you can get for your money.

True. There were many reasons I went with my 05 vs. a newer model and very low mileage for a lower price was one of them.

no major problems with my 05. And I beat on it every time i drive it. Purchased it with 16,000 miles on it and its got 68K now. not worried about breaking the differential until I take it to the strip with some radials.
