I have 05, with 50,000 plus, and love it, and certainly dependable.

I think the point is that there is nothing inherently wrong with an '05 (that wouldn't already have been taken care of by now), but the best advice is still to buy the newest, lowest milage, best kept, and in the best condition car you can afford.

I mostly agree, but often those criteria are conflicting. My 2005 has extremely low miles, so I would (and did) prefer it to a newer model year that has higher mileage but sells for the same price. A lot depends on personal preference.

no major problems with my 05. And I beat on it every time i drive it. Purchased it with 16,000 miles on it and its got 68K now. not worried about breaking the differential until I take it to the strip with some radials.
