I've called all over in an attempt to get the stock mufflers removed based on various posts here that it's only $150 etc. get a muffler shop...yada yada
After about 2 months of calls here's what I have -
1 shop that is supposed to be good that can't tell the difference between aftermarket and stock exhaust, that also couldn't figure out how to pull the mufflers.
2. Many that said "we won't touch it"
3. Many that wanted me to buy exhaust for $1000 and up
and a few that had no idea why I would want to.
So with that said - does anyone in or near Florida have personal experience with a shop that will do this?
Similar situation up here in Jacksonville- we don't have a dedicated shop that works on Corvettes (at least that I know of). I have found some in the Orlando area which should not be too far of a haul for you from Brevard County- maybe give these guys a call:

I have never had any exhaust system work done, but there is a Corvette shop in Jupiter that you may want to contact. The shop is close to I-95.

Contact the local Corvette Club. There has to be a member that has a 4-post lift. This is an EASY job. If not, they should know of a local shop that will do it for a REASONABLE price. Years ago I put my NPP's on in about 22 min. while it was on my lift...$150 is not reasonable for the time and effort required.

That was the first thing I did, contacted everyone I could find an email address for..... waste of time not 1 answer.
However there are some suggestions here, which I will pursue.

Couple things:
I agree...contact a local Corvette Club;
My opinion, but...$150 IS reasonable for the time, effort, AND LIABILITY;
Are you looking for someone to pull the exhaust from the mufflers back and drive off, or replace the mufflers with pipe? Just curious.

Looks like from your picture you bought the car at Rogers Corvette center. But I would call them and see if they can get Corvette Masters to do it the right next-door. If they know it's one of Rogers cars they might change their tune they do good work.

$150 yes even $200 but not $1000 for a replacement. This is the simple remove mufflers replace with pipe. and done.

That's an excellent point, I'll call them Monday and see what they can do
Wow, what is wrong with those shops. It ain't brain surgery. Had mine done for 75 bucks here in North Carolina. I know that doesn't help you brother, but sometimes you just gotta let it out. Good luck.
It's a little bit of a run for you, but I would also call Xplosive Performance, they are a vendor out here. They are fast, and have always treated me fairly for labor type jobs like this.
Because most of these shops are a joke. I called one of them after finding them on yellow pages. Supposed to be "Corvette Experts" and asked them how much to install an exhaust on a C6. I told them I had an SLP in hand and just needed someone to throw it on a lift and put it on. My quote was $400 after speaking to the second guy because the first one did not know what a cat back system was. $400 to throw one on? LOL Yeah I passed.
How far are you willing to travel? Call first and ask (of course) but I'd think Howard Tanner at Red Line Motorsports in Pompano Beach would know how to do it fast. He's also a forum vendor. But Rocket's suggestion above is a good one.
I use HorsePower Sales in West Palm Beach. The place is covered with Corvettes. They specialize in LS motor cars. They have swapped my used exhausts multiple times.
