I just traded by c5 for a c6 coupe. Nice car but the top squeeks and I need some help. I tried putting some Griot's rubber strip dressing on the weatherstip areas but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem and tried everything but the one that worked for me was using the e-clips. Take a look at post number 353 in this thread and it will explain what to do. It is very easy and inexpensive and has worked perfect on both of my tops for over a year now. I did not have to use the oring but certainly couldn't hurt.

Along with the e clips noted above, put shrink wrap on the two pins on the rear of the hatch. That is a metal to metal connection and adds to the clatter. Buy the shrink wrap at Home Depot in the electrical department when you buy the e clips. Both fixes will cost less than $10 and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Mine top has been silent for 18 months now.
