I am keeping my original tire/wheel set-up and putting a set of all-season tires on the wheels I just got, so I need a second set of sensors. I may decide to sell the original set or break down the wheels/tires/sensors and sell them separately at a later date.
I'm also considering that I may want to keep the original wheels for the future if/when I ever sell the car so the next owner has all the original features/options of the car when it was built.
Let me tell you. It is like to near impossible to sell a used set of Corvette wheels.
I have a perfect set of Cray Hawks with Michelin's on them.
They are priced cheap. I have had no valid enquiries other than fools who what me to ship them on my dime which means they get an almost free set of wheels.
When I sell the car I will probably just give the extra set of wheels with it.
Both are available at Discount Tire. I'd suggest buying directly from Discount Tire because they will install them for free if you buy from them. Otherwise, you'll need to pay for install if you bring your own...and it's the same price as tire mount...not cheap.

When we sold our C5, I had a set of base 2001 stock aluminum painted wheels, with Goodyear winter (not A/S, and no longer available) runflats. The tires still had lots of tread, the sensors were only 4 years old with low miles, and the wheels were in excellent condition.
After advertising them here and around the local Corvette clubs for months, then dropping the price to $500 for the whole package, I finally got $200 for them.
I've been checking after being told that Shrader makes the OEM sensors for GM, but when searching for OEM sensors, everything comes up Delco. Does anyone know if Shrader is actually making them for Delco (which is GM's parts division), and then they're just being packaged by Delco? (I've found three other brands of sensors, but reviews are not too good. I think I'm going to go with either Schrader or Delco, depending on prices and availability. I'm going to my local Chevy dealer tomorrow to run my VIN and get the correct part numbers; and I'll check their prices while there, although they'll surely be expensive.
Schrader does indeed make the oem sensors. There are three oem, gray, green and black. Your 2012 uses the black if it is a US spec car. Here's a great post by Bob, BEZ06 with pictures and info on the three. He is the guru on all things TPMS. He has posted numerous helpful videos on the TPMS system. You can see the Schrader Electronics name on the right hand side of the green one in the pic.

Still looking for sensors, I stop at my local Chevy parts dept. today to get the correct part numbers and their price quote. So, after I have to almost wake up the guy at the counter, he looks up the sensors and the sleeves/nuts, and prints out a price quote. He hands it to me and I ask if there's any way I can get some kind of a discount, seeing how my wife and I have bought/leased 4 vehicles from this dealership, and he says no. Then I ask why the price is so high and he says, "because Corvette parts are expensive." Now mind you, this same sensor is used in a Chevy Cobalt! Then the kicker: he says, "Try eBay." And consumers are supposed to support their local small businesses, especially this time of year!
By the way, the dealer wanted $395.14 for 4 sensors and 4 sleeves/nuts!
Amazon or GM Parts Direct are both probably better places to buy from than eBay--and I'm sure I'll find better prices on Amazon. I'll be seriously shopping tomorrow when I have some more time and have the parts numbers with me.
In the meantime, I'm going to check out the link to the CF thread to read/learn some more about all this. (By the way, I don't have a Discount Tire location anywhere near me, so I'll check their prices via email just to see, but I'll be having a local--at the "Jersey Shore"--tire shop mounting and Road Force balancing my tires.)
