I have OEM wires, with 75K miles on them and have had no issues.
It's possible that the metal part that fits on the spark plug end has expanded, and not fitting tight anymore. Also, if the plug wire is just a bit too short, the tension on the wire may cause it to pop off.
You can try squeezing the end of the wire boot a bit with a pair of pliers gently to see if you can increase the tension of where it fits on the spark plug end.
Other than that, you may need new wires to solve your issue.
Any cure for a plug wire that comes off of plug now and then?
I always add a dab of dielectric grease inside the boot. When pushing boot on,make sure hear it click on. If you do not hear/feel it click on, it is not on properly.
Mine came off at 9,500 miles. The dealer said they replaced the wire with a new one.
Several owners on this forum have also had an issue. It's not rampant but it does happen.
Mine did it once at about 4K miles, now it has about 9K on it and it hasn't happened again. I've done 400 mile road trips with minimal stops and no problem. The one time it happened it was local less then 10 mile trip.
I assumed it was not on all the way from the factory and just worked it's way off and once I put it back on it has not come back off. The FRC was not removed until the one wire was off, and the other one has never been removed.
