Agreed.. What pisses me off even more is people with newer cars that have Bluetooth and still drive with a phone to their ear... Texting and driving is just a death wish IMHO..

Where I live you can basically drive 20 mph over the speed limit and use your cellphone with impunity...are most police officers doing desk work nowadays, or, have budget cuts adversely affected the "patrol" budget?? Horrendous.

It's gotten to the point where it is every bit as bad, if not worse, than DUI.

Then when they get a ticket for cell phone use they get pissed off at the officer issuing the ticket. Drive safe, be safe.

Worse, and by far too. My guess is DUI's are out at 10P or so, but hardly 24 / 7 like texters.

First, a guy with .8% is a DUI but he's not necessarily disabled and he's looking where he's going. His dexterity and judgment may be compromised but there is still something.

With your head down texting or whatever, you are driving 100% blind and can't even note you are swerving out of your lane and into me.

Where I am and when I ride, I tend to observe those who are being danger to me. Typically it's a soccer mom in a GM SUV talking or texting. I'd say that's 80% of them.
