Key Fob Problems!
Battery in one of my fobs went dead-replaced battery and have tried 5 times to re-program the Fob using the instructions in the owners manual- no luck! I'm asking anyone who has done this how long it is suppose to take after you turn the trunk latch 5 times and insert the Fob into the slot- I've waited 6-7 minutes for a beep and it has never beeped.

I just replaced a battery in one of my fobs (2009) and I didn't have to re-program anything. It just picked back up where it left off.

What he said, no need to reprogram anything, just drop in the new batteries. Did you get the battery in the right way?

Be aware that some new fob batteries have something engraved on one side of the battery. That sometimes causes poor contact. Ray-O-vac is bad about that. Don't use those batteries.
Also be sure you've inserted the battery with the positive side down.
