LAST THING, I found an easy way to run the control box wires into the ashtray.
.
I'm currently using the "stuff it under edge" method. What's your easy way into the ashtry? (I'm planning to remove the console this weekend, but if there is an easier way ... )
With the ashtray trapdoor open, I removed the ashtray insert. Then I drilled a small hole (big enough for the connector to pass thru). You can easily push the wire thru and it will drop out below from behind the driver's side leg panel. If I remove the Vitesse and reinsert the ashtray, you can barely see a hole at all.

Yikes! There has to be a better way than drilling.

Please do not do this I think you are asking for trouble. There has to be a better way

OMG that looks SO BAD......
Just put it here ..... nothing to cut , nothing to make your vette look like a ricer from the hood....
This spot is right next to the steering wheel left side , nice flat spot and out of the way ,,,,,, took no time to install and looks nice and clean

I wouldn't go as far as getting a new car But I would have to get a new console if it was mine....

Not to change subjects, but is that throttle control really worth the time? I have been kicking the idea around but still skeptical.

I think that's overspray from salting his French fries.

I hear ya, Li'l Billy.
I was going to do this in the spring, but have been wondering about it more lately.
Dunno, we'll see. I would definitely like the old instant response of solid linkage from my foot to the "carb," but I drive like an old man now so it isn't as important as it used to be.

Its for sure worth the 185.00 16 different settings just pick what you want......
I used ECO a few days ago cause it started to rain a little and didn't want to have tire spin.... I had it on my other car a few months ago.. SC LS2 with 550Whp and it was good to use at the track as it would help on the line to reduce some tire spin... but once the boost kicked in nothing would help...LOLOL
Miss that car... was totaled 11/20/16 =(

Hi Bruze, I understand what your saying, but I would like a little more response every time i hit the gas. The sluggishness is horrible on a 436 HP motor. I just looked at a 2007 Z with 556 miles on the clock because I was thinking going that route. The car is like new in and out. I just have a hard time thinking of going from a 2012 to a 9 year old car.

For me it's not a money thing, it's the thought of crawling under the dash umpteen times, not sure what tools I need going in each time.
