Took the top down today and this 6tg gear "drone" is actually a very pleasing sound. I guess it just doesn't resonate right with the top up.
That sound deadening idea would actually work it seems.
I'm pretty sure I will be going the sound deadening route with mine. I actually find my car's exhaust to have a pleasing sound as well. Sound deadening will be a way so that my wife will actually cruise with me- lol.
Modding the mods is the worst. Good thing I only had the vette for a week and don't intend on doing all of that for once. Maybe some wheels...
When I was getting my mods together, I saved & saved into a separate account & then once I had more than enough cash for what I wanted to get, then I got everything at one time. (CAI, Coated Long tubes, Catted X, Exhaust system & installer/tuner lined up, then I pulled the trigger)...
