Exhaust Problem

I have a 06 vert and my wife says it's too loud! Either it gets quiet or the car goes. Live the car, and the wife, so how can i quiet the exhaust. The former owner put Megaflow muffflers on the car, how much quieter would an OME system be? The current system Iisn't real loud, but it does drone at cruise speed. That's what the wife dislikes! Help!

rc, you can use YouTube for some sound samples to make sure the Wifey is pleased. The video's don't give you the exact sound, but close. And not to worry, we all understand that if Momma ain't happy..........well, you know.

I don't think listening to sound clips will help. It's not the exhaust sound that is objectional, it's the drone at cruising speed. We take long highway trips, she tolerated the Z51 suspension, it's just the drone at cruise that is annoying, really for both of us.
