Exactly what do I need to buy to pull the codes on a 2012 coupe?
Thanks
OBD II Code Reader should do the trick. They can be bought from various suppliers or stores.
This site will go nicely with the code reader. http://computer-logic.co/Obd2Lookup/home.jsp

I see you had a C5. You could get codes from the DIC on you 1999 but that option is not available on a C6. As noted above, you have you buy an OBDII to get codes.

Note, the scanner needs to be able to read Can bus!!!!
As for pulling code, go to any auto supply shop, and they will pull the codes for you for free with there OBD II/Can scanner.
If you have a smart phone, then you can load Torque (droid), or DashCommand (Iphone) on it, and use a blue tooth (droid) or Wifi (Iphone) Elm327 (about $10 from amazon) to pull and clear codes using your smart phone instead.
What I have is the blue driver. It's a blue tooth piece you plug into your OBD port and then it syncs with the blue driver app you download on your phone and allows you to do everything a good scanner can do at a fraction of the price.
