When I was looking for a C6 the black interior was in 95% of the cars I looked at...I ended up with a silver with red interior and think it looks great , the red really caught my eye...Color is very personal , you either like a color, or you don't...I think black interiors are pretty universal , and if you don't love black, at least you can live with it without any problem.....WW

There's something to be said for a clean, all black interior in a performance car, especially if it is complimented by a classic analog gauge dash with the speedo and tach sharing center stage in front of the driver. Me likey my 1LT
Cobalt Red/Ebony in my 2013 GS car..........I HATE IT!
The stupid idiots that designed the C6 interiors definitely do NOT have any since of style........thus the reason the C6 (as well as C7) interiors SUKKK!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen a lot worse interiors when it comes to style......the C-6's aren't that bad. But they definitely could have used a little higher quality materials in some areas.
I agree with the OP. I like the lighter interiors but the cashmere has the black on the dash and doors. The PO of my Vette added VR to the console and dash. I have tried to incorporate the three colors together with the changes I've made but I haven't been completely satisfied with the results yet. I think a red Vette with white and red interior would look cool.
I'm partial to black but do like contrasting stitching. I think it looks classy and gives a little more premium feel to the otherwise lackluster materials. I've done several mods upgraded my seats with alcantara inserts and titanium stitching with matching padded armrest, shifter/emergency/boots, and Dennis from Double D Mods did these amazing matching leather covered door panels for me. You can't see very well in the picks, but they have titanium stitching and alcantara inserts. Finally I took apart my radio console and painted it flat black to cover up the cheesy (IMO) fake carbon fiber. Really changed the entire look and feel of the interior.
I've had enough light leather interiors to know, I want black......just stays looking nicer for longer.......and my cobra had the grey alcantera inserts, and although it looked and felt nice.....it eventually started to ball up and and get looking a lil worn.....
Never liked the dark red in the c6.... But the c7 bright red is a winner.....

What comes to mind regarding an auto interior that you REALLY like?
You cover it with towels etc to protect it, but a 2 year old Cashmere interior will look old just from "clean" dirty feet. Yes, black does get hot, but I defy you to find the spot where I dumped a strawberry ice cream Sunday in my 2010. Hint...it was in the passenger floor well.
