That is true, many are up for sale except for very few Black ones.
The reason is that a lot of owners have replaced their yellow, white, silver and other colors for the black headlight look, because of the look that they saw and liked in 2011 when GM gave the buyer a choice to vary from the body colored headlight bezel to 1 of 3 other choices. Black, Blade Silver metallic and Cyber Gray Metallic. The RPO code is H33 (Gray) H34 (Silver) H35 (Black) and continued from 2011-2013.
This was not everyone's cup of tea, but it is a choice that new buyers had.
Some are for sale because the headlight lens are in bad condition as well.
The headlight lens can be replaced with new ones for the time being, but that not be the case for very much longer.
I replaced my lens with new ones, and went from VY headlight bezels to Black bezels.
Many times arctic white ones are for sale because in 2013 they put in grey headlights on the 427. Folks want the latest look/contrast. I recently purchased a spare set of arctic white headlights in relatively perfect condition.
