Don't think it'll work.. Gotta go with an aftermarket headunit

Here's what I did on my 2006 Base. Just an FYI. Last post on this thread shows the final install picture.

Go to DoubleD Mods and get the Kenwood 9903. Then mirror your Android with WAZE to the radio for accurate navigation and when you throw the car in reverse the camera will light up the display.
There are a few more details, but this is a start.

If you decide to replace the head unit, installing a backup camera is fairly easy & relatively inexpensive... less then $50.00. Here's a link to the thread on how I did mine...

For the OEM Nav, you would need a lockpick 360 (No longer available from manufacturer) to interface with the Nav, or A NavTool that allows the BU camera to interface with the OEM NAV but it's a $400.00 bill to get it done.
I was in the same quandary, and installed a monitor inside my driver's sunvisor. Out of sight, and easy to access when needed, and right in front of you.
It helped me decide when one of the vanity cover hinges broke, so I removed the assembly and used the cover to mount the monitor.

I'm by no means an expert on this, but I had an estimate done on mine before I put it away for the winter. I wanted a navigation with the touch screen and back up camera and blue tooth. The stereo shop quoted me a price of $1400 installed. Done in one day. It will be installed when my car comes out of the winter storage barn. I hope this helps and good luck in your search. If you're just looking for a back up camera it should be a lot less. Mine didn't come with the touch screen.

Aren't there back up camera rearview mirrors available too? The screen only shows up when you're in reverse, otherwise it looks like a normal mirror.
