Attached fixed picture. It's still in storage, maybe in another 2 weeks I'll pull the covers off. Need to renew the tags on it still so I've been lazy about it.
The 2k price quote was at a repair shop located in a dealership. I kinda laughed when he indicated the bumper, and quarter panels all have to be blended in and since the bumper is being redone, then the logo on the back replaced.... it just piled on up from there.
Looks like they did a great job. The reason I asked is due to a pretty bad scratch I put on my fender while working on the engine. I figured I would have to have a body shop repair it.
I decided to try try sanding it out myself. Thankfully I was able to remove the scratch without going all the way through the clear coat. If I ever get one that goes too deep, it's nice to have an idea about what prices I might expect.
Alright Corvettes owners, I finally found a Body Shop that was highly recommended to me. The good thing about it ids that is only ten minutes drive from my house. I have an appointment Saturday on the 2nd of April to get my estimate. I shall return and report to the group.
