Yes it is an A&A set up. Vortech V2. Installed in 2009 with LG Pro long tube headers. Dynos at 541rwhp. I've been real happy with it. I've had the car since new (31 Jan 2006). Did the mods in 2009 with 13K miles. Now has 41K miles.

Drove about 800 miles round and side trips to see my dad for his 97th birthday. I bought the 2009 cyber gray coupe 1lt A6 on December 6, 2017 so haven't been able to drive it much until the snow FINALLY went away. The previous owner had put sound deadening in it and an aftermarket stereo (top of the line Kenwood from 2009), big brake kit, Z06 wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport AS, Momo auto shift **** and I'm not sure what else. The car did great, except the road and wind noise was pretty bad. I'll have to look under the carpet and see how much sound insulation he put in, because it was quite annoying. I felt that if I played the stereo loud enough to hear, I would have permanent hearing damage after the hours that I drove. I plan to drive this thing a lot. The good news is that our here in the American Outback, the roads are made for high speed cruising, but I'll be deaf soon if I can't find a way to cut the road and wind noise down a bit. Sure is fun to drive though.
I have a business trip next week that I had planned to take the Vette on, but it's about 2,500 miles and I'm not sure that I'll have any hearing left by the time that I get back.

This week...thought about a ten year happy birthday write up of the 30+ mods I did on the car and the 30+ mods I still have to do... and that is a lot of writing... :-)

Blacked out the front and rear Corvette emblems with carbon fiber-look overlays. Installed carbon fiber pieces over the A pillar v-shaped area to go along with my recently carbon fiber wrapped mirrors, roof, and halo.

Wow. Curious that you would have that much wind/road noise. Let us know what it is. I have those same tires and they are reasonably quiet, and mine never has had a wind noise.

Installed a Pioneer double-din head unit. Much better than the stock base deck I had in there.

You didn't think cleaning the car before doing that might have been a good way to start, or even finish?

Had the wheels left over from my viper days, far cheaper to convert car then to get new wheels, simple project really.

Now i have a road set and a track set for around 500$ rather than 10k plus for 2 sets of wheels

Any pics? And did you do the work yourself? I wrapped my A Pillars and roof. Next on the list is the Halo. I'm terrified of the mirrors, but I think I'll give them a try... even though I heard they're a pain to remove.

I can see you're just another classic example of the failures of both modern day parenting and the school system.

You dont need to remove the mirrors to wrap them. I wrapped my emblems and interior pieces, along with the handles and spoiler. Quick note if you decide to wrap your center console better have a helping hand because its a pain in the ***.
