any 1 replace this item on their car and if so who did u buy it from and did u also do the shift ****? How bad a job was it to do ? any 1 having pics and step by step please post em.
I replaced the leather part of the shifter boot with the one listed in the post above, also in yellow stitching. The OEM leather is glued (contact cement) to the plastic portion of the assembly. I simply pulled the old leather off, and glued the new leather boot on.
I also replaced the leather of the shifter k-n-o-b in the same way.
removed the shifter ****, removed the cap, the OEM leather, and glued the new leather on the ****.
The radio surround console will have to be removed to get access to the Automatic shifter boot assembly.
