Welcome. Just amazes me some of the answers sales people will state of what items on the car are for. Hopefully he wasn't trying to sell any snake oil...

Thanks everyone. Well I guess it doesn't have rain sensing wipers. And yes, you can drive it in the rain. was pouring on the trip home from the dealer and not a drop got inside the ragtop. I of course try not to drive it in the rain, but I don't panic if it starts when i'm out. Got a fair price. No dilusions about this being a good investment. I'll just enjoy it.

The Cadillac XLR which shares alot of the C6 electrical architecture does have a rain sensor in that location.
