I know this has been beat to death already but I need to replace my tires ASAP and I'm on the fence as to what to buy. It seems most people are very happy with the Michelin Pilot tires I know they are expensive and I'm OK with this, I would like to with Run Flats so my options are limited it seems they make a few models and I being given conflicting info from dealers I see the are PS SS and AS models are all of these still current models two deals are telling me that only the AS All Season tire is current. I currently have the stock Goodyear these are summer tires and they are horrible in the cold weather I kind of like the idea of going with All Season but I don't want to sacrifice handling. I need to order something soon maybe even today. I hoping for some input!
Michelin has both the all season and summer versions of the PS available. They might have to be ordered from California, but they're available, at least they were when I bought my front tires a couple of months ago.

I was told the only ones were the all season at my local shop. I do however see them on tire rack. My shop tried to tell me if I buy them and they are discontinued that I would have an issue if I have a problem with one of the tires.
I believe the are installing the on new vettes today so I really don't understand!

I have Pilot Super Sports and love them , tire rack has them and so does Discount tire so I am not worried
really you take a chance with any tire that are the sizes we use on the Corvette so just go with what you think is the best
I ordered the Pilot Super Sport tires from my local shop and he came in at $1600 installed with tax. I think that's a decent price I check tire rack with shipping and then paying someone to install them I don't think I would save much if anything. I would rather buy them for the shop that installs them so they can't point their finger elsewhere is something where to go wrong!
