Default Targa top question

So here we are the 10th of August and I have to ask all coupe owners,(excluding Z owners of course) how many times during the course of the year have you removed your top? I believe I had mine off 2 or 3 times upon taking it out of winter storage. Maybe due to laziness, taking off putting on or just satisfied enough with the windows down. Any others out there that seldom take their tops off? Maybe I should seriously think of buying a Z06.

I haven't removed mine yet this year. Thought about it, but it's been a hot summer.

Ouch! Man that really sucks the big One. I double check mine whenever I put it back on just to make sure it never happens to me. I hope you get it repaired soon.

I usually take mine off in the spring and fall. 2-4 times... Change to the tinted roof for the winter months.

.. Never, If I want to go topless, I peel the lid on the ragtop. One of the reasons I kept the C5 Vert .... That and I still love those flip up headlights ...

I remove mine 3 or 4 times per year. I spend so much time in the ocean that I try to minimize the sun baking me when I am on land

I've had mine off once this year to participate in a 4th of July Parade.

During the summer around here in the Dallas area I keep it on. During the fall, winter and spring I remove it as much as possible. I almost bought a convertible, but a good deal on my car kept me in the direction of the targa. Still keeps me happy and not a big deal at all to remove or put back on.

As long as the frame is OK I don't see why not, but it might just be cheaper to buy a complete used one.

It's too hot here in the summer for me to want to remove it. I left the t-tops off of my c3 only because the AC did not work. I might pull the Targa a few times in the spring or fall for the few days of normal weather we might get

I keep my car in the garage 24/7 with the top off and in the hatch. Every drive is with the top off as I only use the car in good weather. I put the top in when locking the car up while out, or if I need more storage. And I've got both tops, which came with my 13 GS coupe.

I could care less about the car being faster but I would never buy a Corvette without a convertible or targa top.
