Default Early model?

I traded my 03 for a 08 at a Dealer yesterday!

I think that this is a very early model 08 as the serial number is 100006 and it was delivered to GM at Warren Michigan. According to the build sheet, it was built 4-24-07 Black Convertible, 3LT, Power Top, Z51, NAV, NPP

I googled the serial number today and my car shows up. I googled all of the numbers in my cars range 1 through 10 and mine is the only one to show up? Am I wrong in assuming that the first numbers and letters would be the same? In my case my full VIN is 1G1YY36W685100006. I went on assumption that only the last 6 digits change?

Look for NPP. The pictures in your other post show the valves. Could have been added after purchase by the previous owner.

Congrats on the new car- the low serial numbers typically receive greater quality control scrutiny.

You can always post a picture of the options sticker on the glove box door if you'd like help decoding the options.

I actually have a copy of the window sticker and it shows no NPP.

I just got it yesterday and I emailed the previous owner. He did not add it and the owner before Him was a Dealer which I have not contacted yet. Prior to that, it was a GM car that was delivered to Warren Mi.

I will keep digging.

Thank you all!

Wow, perfect color, and someone is going to enjoy the summer, with wind blowing though your hair, don't burn from the sun.

Assuming there is hair for the wind to blow through...

I have not seen any! My last car was a 03 Vert. I think that I put the top down twice in 3 years.

I stopped at the Dealer yesterday and got a copy of the "BUILD SHEET" as suggested by another member. I have attached a copy. This is indeed a early car!

Very cool build sheet. Nice to know you have "antenna diversity"...

Did anything odd show up on the VIS "Vehicle Report"?

I replaced the fuse but it still is not working. I looked under the back end this afternoon and found that a hose was off one of the actuators. I put it back on and started the car but it still had both actuators open.

I ordered a mild to wild kit so I will wait for it to come in to dig deeper in to the problem.
