What is your average MPG on your Vette?
So I had my C6 for about 45k miles before selling it. I rarely got in it and always tried to hyper-mile it on the highway. I'm thinking about getting back into a used C6, and it seems the best criteria would be to look at the average MPG. I've seen it down around 9 or 10, whereas I think I had it around 21-22. What is your average MPG and can this be reset or it's definitive for the lifespan of the vehicle?

I have a 2012 Grand Sport, my daily driver. I get 22.8 MPG, but I drive like a bat out of hell. if I do the speed limite, 60 Mph, I get 26 to 27. My drive is 76 miles one way and mostly freeway. Currently have just over 43,000 fun filled miles.

2007 base coup, automatic.
Average over the 8300 miles I've put on it so far - 24.64
Best tank - 30.52
Worst tank - 17.14
Recent long road trip average - 26.62
Shhh, don't tell anybody it's really an economy car...

Yes, you can reset the MPG average. Just have it displayed on the DIC and hit Reset.
I get lower 20s in short trip driving, and 28-29 on the highway. Not bad for a big V-8. I don't do any real "city" driving ... short trip for me is suburban.

2006, owned since new, just over 90K miles, 75% highway/interstate-25% city driving, cruise highways/interstates at 80-85mph (or faster) - according to the DIC I've averaged 26.5mpg after 10 years

I reset mine on every fill-up. I'm not aware of a lifetime MPG on our cars. If there is one I never have accessed it.
