2012 M6 Coupe. Right around 72K. Second owner, and 40K of those are mine in past 2 years.
I'm thinking the clock will show at least 150K before I decide to move on to another daily driver. Since I road race, it's staying with me until it's dead!

I really enjoyed these posts - especially JerriVette's. I'm not sure what is meant by GM "validating" the car for 300k miles. Does that mean I'm irresponsible if I drive it past that?
Gm tests these vehicles for over 300k miles to determine failure rate of corvettes. This way GM technicians understand what to look for should various symptoms crop up.
GM uses the 300k mile validation process so they can profitably offer a 5 year 100k mile warranties for many years.
Drive comfortably knowing GM builds a reliable and durable not to mention relatively low cost to repair high performance super car/sports car products.
Take it for what it's worth and of course there are always exceptions...these cars are a joy to own and use.
My neighbors ferraris, maseratis and even 911 s are much higher cost to drive anywhere near the number of miles as I have with my corvette.
Performancewise...id suggest my 190 mph top speed road rocket that does zero to 60 mph in four seconds...pulls 1.0 lateral g's...costs chump change compared to them...
05 vert z51 A4 has 194K. No rattles, smoke, tracks like its on rails. Only place it shows is the sandblasted headlights and front bumper. Still FAST. 3:15 gear rear helps.
2011 GS Vert with almost 50k. Daily driver. I have put most of them on myself. Wife drives it only a little.
Have a 2008 Tacoma with 130k for snow and road trips. Living in the Denver area snow can happen. No Vette in the snow. Supercharged the Tacoma. Great move.
66,000 on my 2005 and we don't have as many roads in the UK as you have. Enjoying every mile. Making the 'pilgrimage' to do the NCM and factory tour in early December and really looking forward to that.

Can't talk about Corvettes yet, as I'm using the resources of the forum to educate me about the various C6's, as that's what I've decided to buy. I like the lines better than the new C7's.
However, I also own a 1965 Triumph TR4 and use it for most days as my daily driver, because I like the car and enjoy driving it. I still cannot understand buying a car to sit. I have a Mustang convertible, the Triumph and soon a C6 convertible. All will be driven to work, errands and road trips. Last Summer, my son and I took the Triumph from Houston to Wisconsin, across Michigan, through Canada then back to Houston through NY, Penn, Virginia, the Carolinas and then to Houston. Looking forward to similar tours in the new Corvette.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
