Determining the build number?
Maybe this question has been brought before I don't know. But! Trying to determine which number off the line my 2013 gs vert was built. Does anyone know how or if you can determine that? I have found that there were a total of 1,736 GS verts built in 2013 but would like to know where mine would fit in to that number of builds ?
Thanks
Thanks

I'm not aware of any way that you can figure out where your car sits within that 1,736 number. The VIN of your car will tell you where it sits within C6 production for that model year. If the last six digits of your VIN were 115136, it would mean that your car was # 15,136 off the line that year.

Look on the window sticker for the build date, best you can do.

You can only get a general idea. Look at you VIN. As stated the last six digits are the build numbers. There was a total 13,466 2013 Corvette's built and that includes, coupes, convertible, Z06 and ZR1's.

So the first one would end with 100001 and the last would be 113466. Yours fits in there somewhere. The small sticker on the door side of the jam gives the month and year, ie 04/13

Got my car's build date from NCM back in '08 when car was purchased. Also got actual build sheet at the same time. Not sure they provide that service any more.

The OP can then post and try to pin down where in the lineup of GSs his car may lie. It's worth a shot, anyway.

Any owner can go to any dealer, and they can print you an unofficial "build sheet" which among other cool details about your car, will show the exact build date your car has.
