Clock with navigation
It contains a lot of informaton. I spent several hours learning how to use the one in my 2013 and use it all the time without problems.
As LV2TOUR indicated using memory points is the best way to program it.
You can't use a memory point it won't let you input.

I don't care what anyone says about the NAV, it sucks. It won't take perfectly valid street names even though it will display them when I drive down them. It says my work street number doesn't exist even though it's been there for 40 years. It frequently gets the direction of the last turn wrong, says left when the destination is right. I know I'm dyslexic but not that bad! I even bought the update disc this year, total waste of money. And that's just the facts, nothing about the crappy user interface or antiquated looking display. So it displays turns on the HUD, big deal since I have to turn off the G meter, the best part of the HUD.

Mine has been doing it off and on for over a year and it happens more when it is hot out.
I like the nav unit, have no problems udsing it, but we usually take our Garmin along also.

As to your issue with setting the clock, try setting a time zone that makes the clock correct. It should then not change. The question then will be does it do daylight time correctly next month. And this is the first time I have heard of anyone having trouble with the factory nav auto clock setting with a good GPS signal and correct settings.

If these questions are answered then it usually becomes a simple matter to give instructions that solve the issue. Usually the problem starts with people entering too MUCH information because street names and numbers have to be entered exactly as the system knows them. If you keep typing instead of picking from a list you think it doesn't know. Sometimes entering the street name before the city can help. Always entering the street name before the number helps.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

We've driven 140k miles over most of the USA and Canada using the factory Nav, when someone makes an aftermarket unit that will display on the HUD then I'll be ready to change. But not until then.
It has taken me all over these here United States, and never has it ever taken me to an incorrect location. There have been two times over the years that the address wasn't in the system (old disc).
Much good info upthread about actually learning the quirks of the system before calling it junk. It may actually be smarter than a lot of owners who throw up their hands w/o understanding why it's not working for them. Are the graphics old-fashioned? Sure, but keep in mind this unit is a decade and a half old tech. It still does what it's designed to do, and quite well if you bother learning it. It's not an AI, it can't learn how you work, and the fact that directions pop up on the HUD is invaluable, IMO
I've never had any problem with dates, location (other than one time on a trip (2006) it lost GPS signal, and it thought I was in the middle of Lake Michigan.
About six months ago, it did quit working, saying that there was no DVD installed. I thought the system was toast, but this week, I remembered that I still had the original disc (barely used) that came with the car in the basement. I dug it out and installed it, and it's working again. The disc (2007) that I had been using was all scratched up--no wonder it wouldn't read.

I have a TomTom in my daily driver and find it far more intuitive and user friendly than the Denso units in the Corvette. Unfortunately the TomTom still has its drawbacks as well. The yearly updates get to be a PITA and expensive. There is nothing more annoying than to have purchased the latest maps only to find that a freeway entrance, exit, major artery and roundabout that were completed and put into service 2 years ago are still not in the latest map release for a sizeable city.
You can integrate it with an aftermarket head unit and with a new head unit you'll also get the benefit of better sound quality over the stock system.
