Again, keep in mind that pads have a working temp range, and until the pads and rotors come up to this working temp, the brakes are not going to fully bite correctly/will take much longer to stop the car..
Note, in some case, it will take a full warm up lap to get the race brake pads up to temps, and the pads are going to suck at colder road temps isntead (when they are bone cold with this type of driving instead).




I bring this up, since you need to keep in mind that temps that the race type pads have to get to, until they will start to bite.

So again, if you don't mind the dusting problems from the pads, the OEM j55 HD pads are the ticket for both street and autocross type driving with great initial bite and feed back; even bone cold.
